Nataraj Hauser - Dancer/Performer/Choreographer/Director

I have a broad range of experience as a performer, as a dancer and a general costumed character, as well as administrative direction duties.  Recent performances have included the following:

Orton Park Festival
(2006, 2007, 2009-2015) with Cycropia Aerial Dance.  My roles varied each show, including aerial dancer on low trapeze, silks, horizontal steel pipe, and vertical steel pole; choreographer on steel pole, and costumed ground performer. I have directed 7 shows (as of 2015).

I am very fit and athletically capable.

Potowatomie Casino New Year's Eve (2010 and 2011) with Cycropia Aerial Dance.  The Potowatomie Casino in Milwaukee, WI, hired us to perform as improvisational characters to entertain attendees at an appreciation dinner on two consecutive nights.  The next year we performed our typical aerial acts.

Madison Children's Museum Grand Opening (2010) with Cycropia Aerial Dance.  Performed improvisational work on aerial silks as the capacity crowd visited the fabulous new children's museum.  The local newspaper chose to run a photo of me as the image to accompany their story about the event.

BoardStar Event
with Cycropia Aerial Dance (2010)  BoardStar envisions strong nonprofit organizations governed by diverse, passionate, and resourceful leaders.  For their annual event I performed with others as a costumed improviser.  BoardStar's feedback was that we "raised the bar" for their event entertainment.

Other performances include: Fire Ball III, a costumed masquerade, as an aerial dancer; Madison Museum of Contemporary Art as a character appearing in the opening of the "Something Wicked This Way Comes" exhibit; contact improv duet at Mazomanie Movement Art's "Some Assembly Required" performance (VIDEO); and numerous other small community programs such as Bare Bones Dance, Madison contact improv community's "Seeds", and Circle Sanctuary's annual Yule Pageant.
